Modern Master Class with Jenna Monroe, Co-Director of Requisite Dance This Friday from 7:30-8:30 pm at Professional Ballet School
PBS is excited to present a Modern Master Class with the Co-Director of Requisite Dance, Jenna Monroe. This Master Class is open to all PBS dancers in Ballet 2 or Jazz 2 and higher. Class will be held in the large studio, will begin at 7:30pm and conclude at 8:30pm, and is $10 at the door to PBS students and free of charge to all Dance Team members.
This is a wonderful opportunity to learn from a working choreographer of a San Francisco based professional dance company and is strongly encouraged to all PBS dancers.
Jenna Monroe began dancing in her hometown of Nevada City, Ca and continued her training at San Francisco State University with Cathleen McCarthy, Susan Whipp and Wendy Diamond. She was a member of University Dance Theater from 2003-2007. Her choreography has been awarded the Artist in Residence Grant from the Silicon Community Foundation. Her work has been danced at McKenna Theater, at ACDFA, the Garage, Dance Mission Theater, San Jose State University and the Santa Cruz Fringe Festival. She currently teaches dance at the Jewish Community Center in San Francisco. She co-directs and choreographs for requisitedance alongside Michaela Shoberg.
